About the Artist

My name is Emilija. Originally from Lithuania, grew up in the US, and now based in Switzerland. I have a bachelor in Biology but I have been an art enthusiast since childhood. I never imagined that creating art could have been a potential career path for me until now.

In 2025 after a sport injury I had to physically rest my body. This allowed me to focus on my creativity and pursue my passion for expressing my love for animals and life through art. I experimented with a variety of different mediums over the last year and have found my calling in oil and acrylic paint and animal portraits with coloured pencils.

In 2026, I decided to take the leap and open up my own website and shop with my art as well as offering comissions for pet portraits and original oil / acrylic paintings.

I absolutely love animals and honestly wish I could be a cat. But since I cannot, the least I can do is create portraits of people’s pets, for them to have forever.
